SESSION Australia welcomes media coverage that aligns with safety, ethical, and industry standards.
Accreditation Policy
Media accreditation is reserved for professional journalists and photographers representing recognized news outlets or those officially appointed by SESSION Australia. Accreditation may be denied for unverifiable or non-substantive media outlets. All applications are assessed individually.
Media Guidelines
Passes will be available for collection prior to the event (details TBC).
- Official watermarks will be provided ahead or after the event.
Any media used for promotional purposes must credit SESSION Australia (e.g., through tagging or watermark).
All digital content must be shared with SESSION Australia. This includes:
Watermarked copies of all media captured.
Up to ten (10) un-watermarked images upon request.
Misuse of media or failure to comply may result in legal action or exclusion from future events.
Operational Rules
Media passes are non-transferable and must be worn at all times.
Direct interaction with event talent is prohibited unless pre-approved.
Sale of unsolicited media to event attendees is not allowed.
Media must follow all staff and management instructions.
Accreditation will not be issued to advertising agencies, PR firms or competitors.
Coverage should highlight all aspects of the SESSION event: sponsors, vendors, spectators, vehicles and main stage guest talks.
Media Access & Special Areas
Backstage access is available by prior arrangement only.
Main Stage Area: A designated zone may be provided for closer coverage of the guest talks.
Car Unveilings: Details and timing will be shared in advance.
Early Access: Media may enter up to two (2) hours before public admission.
Media Room (if available): A workspace with charging facilities may be provided. SESSION Australia is not responsible for lost or unattended items.
